Mercado join their fellow sports and cultural events coaches from Northern Luzon for the Training Program on Innovative Coaching and Strategic Training Practices at Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), City of Batac, Ilocos Norte on 14-18 October.

Organized by the Association of State Colleges and Universities - Solid North (ASCU-SN), the second training involves football, athletics, volleyball, dance sports, and cultural events. The TAUian delegates also learn about current psychological intervention strategies, reflective coaching, and coaching techniques, among others.

The supply officers from PSMU, led by their Chief, Ms. Novabina C. Eugenio, provide in-depth discussion pertaining to the practices and procedures of the university’s supply unit such as Requisition and Issue Slip (RIS), Purchase Request (PR), Inspection and Acceptance Report (IAR), Property Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR), Inventory Custodian Slip (ICS), Transfer and Return of Properties (TRP), and Inventory Management, in compliance with the government regulations.

As the whole academic community celebrates the World Teachers’ Day and the Mental Health Awareness for the month of October, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) in partnership with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) invites teachers from TAU and other higher education institutions for the "𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬," a free virtual workshop for teachers to be conducted on October 25, 2024 at 8:00AM - 11:30AM (GMT+8 /Philippine Time) via Zoom meeting conference.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) transfers fabrication equipment worth a total of ₱3.7 million to Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), 15 October, eyeing to foster instruction, hands-on farm shop activities and farm machinery-related activities of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) students from the University's College of Engineering and Technology (CET).

The transferred metal fabrication equipment, which includes a hydraulic pipe bender, hydraulic press brake, hydraulic shearing machine, mechanical profile sheet roller/bender, and shaping machine, will empower ABE faculty and students to engage in hands-on learning and drive impactful research, specifically for the subjects Materials and Processes for ABE, AB Machinery, and Mechanization and Machine Design for AB Production.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) launches this year’s 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩. The application for students as participants and faculty members as lecturers/mentors are now open for TAU and Philippine higher education institutions (PHEIs) and partnered foreign universities. The program will be held at TAU, Camiling, Tarlac on December 9 to 14, 2024.

For the participants of the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩, TAU offers waived program fee; free room accommodations, meals and snacks as well as service vehicle from and to the airport. Students and lecturers overseas shall cover the airfare expenses.
