The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community commenced the Intramurals 2024 with the theme โ€œNow on Track: Discovering TAU Athletes, Upholding the Future of Sports and Cultureโ€ with much excitement and energy at the TAU Grandstand, 6 November.

As a celebration of athleticism and solidarity, the annual event kicked off with an assembly of delegates. The parade started with the entrance of National and University colors, followed by the TAU Laboratory School (LS) Drum and Lyre Corps, members of the Administrative Council, student leaders from the Supreme Student Council (SSC) and the six colleges in their respective uniforms, proudly waving their banners, with great spirit and enthusiasm. It ended at the TAU Grandstand where everyone gathered for the kickof

Tarlac Agricultural Universityโ€™s (TAU) innovative Belen integrates traditional Filipino methods to craft nativity scenes centered around the theme of "fishing of men," preserving both cultural heritage and spiritual significance.

In this display, the typical stable is reimagined as a weathered fishing boat stranded on Bethlehem's shore, where the Holy Family finds refuge in a bangka, a native Filipino boat, adorned with delicate capiz lanterns, symbolizing the star of Bethlehem as well as their spiritual journey. Fishnets represent the disciples' future calling, while dried leaves provide comfort for the infant King. Three capiz lanterns, glowing like starlight, guide onlookers to the striking scene.

Mr. Ubaldo ensures that starting 4 November, emergency responders are properly oriented and deployed to assist the athletes who are  gearing up for the upcoming events.
