The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Education (CEd) welcomed 25 pioneering first-year students of the newly offered Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science (BSESS) program at the start of the semester, 11 August.
According to the Admission and Registration Services (ARS) Office, despite the strong interest from aspiring enrollees, only a select few qualified, as admission standards were set at a high level to ensure that those accepted demonstrate the academic capability consistent with CEdβs rigorous entrance requirements.
Among the trailblazing members of this initial BSESS batch are Mr. Juls Ivann J. Limayo and Ms. Christine DT. Laureta, both from Camiling, who envision themselves as a future fitness coach and a Physical Education (PE) teacher, respectively.Β
