The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Chorale, along with Prof. Cecile L. Lapitan, Director of the Sociocultural Development Office (SDO); Engr. Donna Fay Labrador, Assistant Director of SDO; and Mr. Jefferson Manalang, staff from SDO and trainer of the TAU Chorale, have officially arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) as they embark on a historic journey to represent the Philippines at the 2025 Busan Choral Festival and Competition from 30 October to 2 November in Busan, South Korea.

Marking its first-ever international performance, the TAU Choraleโ€™s participation underscores the Universityโ€™s commitment to promoting Filipino artistry and cultural excellence on the global stage.

The TAU administration led by Dr. Silverio Ramon, DC. Salunson and the whole TAU community express their full support for the chorale, emphasizing that this milestone reflects TAUโ€™s vision of fostering globally competitive talents rooted in Filipino identity and creativity.

Deepening the knowledge and competencies in the government procurement process, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) officials, led by Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (VPPQA); Atty. Steve Russel P. Regua, Atty IV from the Legal Unit; Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, the Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA); and Mr. Eduardo D. Cabrera II, Chief of the Procurement Management Unit, attend the seminar on The New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) Deepening Understanding and Strengthening Implementation in State University and Colleges (SUCs) at the Manila Prince Hotel, Ermita, Manila, from 27-29 October.

Under the theme โ€œBuilding NGPAReady SUCs: Towards Effective, Consistent, and Inclusive Implementation,โ€ participants deepen their understanding of the provisions of Republic Act No. 12009 or the New Government Procurement Act during the three-day seminar, organized by the Government Procurement Policy Board-Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO).

Cultural Trip Baguio

๐‚๐€๐๐“๐”๐‘๐„๐ƒ ๐ˆ๐ ๐‹๐„๐๐’ | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) exchange students under the International Credit Transfer Program, namely Haris Fadillah, Denawa Lutfiana, Ignacia Efie Liya Rini, Berliana Maharani, and Aslih Auladhana from Universitas Pancasakti (UPS) Tegal, Indonesia, toured Baguio City as part of the programโ€™s cultural trip on 14 October 2025.

Accompanying them were representatives from the TAU Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA), namely Ms. Caroline N. Gabis, Chief for Partnership Development; Mr. Jayson J. Elenzano, Chief for Technical Support; Mr. Abner P. Maรฑebog Jr., Technical Staff for International Mobility; Ms. Katrina J. Adajar, CAS Coordinator; and Alyzanett G. Eugenio, TAU Global Ambassador.

The tourist spots they visited in the city were Lourdes Grotto, Mirador Hill, Mines View Park, the Mansion, Wright Park, and SM City Baguio.
