𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | A team from Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) conducts an impact monitoring at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), visiting two of its flagship projects namely, SMART Agriculture Center and eBamboo facility, to gather data for documentation and promotion.
SEARCA has been a long-time key partner of TAU in ensuring the University's continued development in academic initiatives, agricultural research and extension, and technology promotion. Just last year, TAU sent 13 university leaders and faculty members to international conferences and training supported by SEARCA and the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd).
𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Representatives from the Kohen Ministry Foundation of Welfare and Education, Inc., Onseami Co. Ltd., and ECOMOA Company in Seoul, South Korea meet with officials and staff of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) for a possible agro-industrial partnership in new energy ventures.
The bilateral dialogues also focus on creating job opportunities for TAU graduates and alumni, acquisition of advanced agricultural technologies, and provision for free Korean language and culinary training.
𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The chairman and members of the Tarlac Agricultural University - Board of Regents (TAU-BOR) formally accept the new Faculty Regent during the Swearing-In Ceremony at the Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU), 18 July.
As the new president of United Faculty Association (UFA), Dr. Joseph Paul T. Abad takes his oath before the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Commissioner Ronald L. Adamat, assuming the duties and functions of a faculty regent of TAU in accordance with the general policies, plans, and programs of CHEd.
𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | TAU joins National CPR Day
The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Tarlac Chapter participated in the National Hands-Only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Day Celebration at the TAU Continuing Education Center (CEC) building, 17 July.
Part of the hybrid session is a PRC-led live seminar and workshop via Zoom video conference which drew national officials of PRC and enshrined the theme: “A CPR Ready Philippine: Where Knowledge and Skills Save Lives.” Present in the video conference were Mr. Richard J. Gordon, Chairman and CEO of PRC, and Ms. Gwendolyn Pang, Secretary General of the PRC.
𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Despite the drizzle due to tropical storm Carina, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community gathers in front of Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center for this week’s flag-raising ceremony, 22 July.
Spearheading this week's flag hoisting is the Gender and Development (GAD) Office led by its Director, Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo, together with the GAD Focal Point System from different offices at TAU.
During the ceremony, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC Salunson, TAU President, congratulates Dr. Joseph Paul T. Abad for being sworn in as the new Faculty Regent of the TAU Board of Regents (BOR), and also reveals that all proposed agenda were approved by the BOR during its first meeting on 18 July.

As the Malacañang Palace announces the work suspension in government offices and all academic institutions in Regions III, IV-A and NCR on 25 July 2024 due to continuous rain caused by Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon Carina, all office transactions at Tarlac Agricultural University are CANCELED, including its ongoing enrolment for 1st semester of academic year 2024-2025.

For their safety as floodwaters have not receded in some areas, enrollees (BS Business Administration) for tomorrow, 26 July, are advised to transact with the Admission and Registration Services (ARS) on 1 August instead, while Grade 12 and late enrollees from the Laboratory School (LS) will be entertained on 29 July.

Leading the weekly rites is the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (OVPRET) headed by Vice President Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, and two of its support offices, the Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) and Affiliated Renewable Energy Center (AREC).
Meanwhile, Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, the Officer-In-Charge of the Office of Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (OVPPQA), reminds the heads of offices and units at TAU that during their scheduled Strategic Planning workshop, their action plans should be output-based and doable for the indicated period.
