𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Empowering faculty-researchers with appropriate gender integration and analysis strategies, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Gender and Development (GAD) office spearheads a  two-day workshop on "Leveraging GAD Research for Community Development" at the Farmers’ Training Center on 26-27 June.

The event features a series of lecture sessions, beginning with Dr. Ma. Flora G. Mariano, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) faculty member, as she unpacks key GAD frameworks in “Fundamental GAD Principles and Concepts for Research.” The discussions continue with Mr. Carlo Magno L. Sagun, College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) faculty member, whose insights on “Exploring Generative AI for GAD Research Studies,” reimagines traditional research methods through cutting-edge AI applications. Concluding the seminar, Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Nardo, GAD Director, focuses on “Integrating GAD Principles Across Disciplines,” to emphasize the impact of embedding gender perspectives in research.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Thai Nguyen University of Technology (TNUT) – Vietnam invite students from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) to apply for a scholarship grant offered by TNUT for Academic Year 2025–2026.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Strengthening partnerships in knowledge sharing, research, and resource mobilization, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Camp Asia, and Kawayan Collective the collaboration toward bamboo product development and sustainable innovation through a ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Room on 27 June.  

Facilitated by the Department of Extension and Training (DET), the MOA aims to harness bamboo's potential as an eco-friendly material while introducing modern industry practices to local communities and catalyzing the growth and development of the grassroots economy.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Working towards strengthening the capacity and transforming community engagement through gender lens, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) led by the Gender and Development (GAD) office sends two non-teaching staff to participate in the 2025 Gender Fair Education (GFE) Training at the Miriam College from 23-27 June.

Ms. Carmina S. Melchor, Information Officer I from the Information Unit, and Mr. Alter Vincent DG. Siasit, Administrative Aide VI from the Legal Unit, who are both members of the TAU-GAD Focal Point System (GFPS), actively engage in the five-day training-seminar that focuses on intersectional media analysis, integration of gender-lens in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program, and strategies for embedding gender justice in institutions.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) formally seals its collaboration with eight agricultural organizations during the official launch of “Smart Agriculture, Gearing Towards Food Security and Sustainability: A Showcase of Smart Agriculture Through Vegetable Derby and Harvest Festival,” held at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Hall, 30 June.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) includes driving agricultural development through vegetable production by seed and fertilizer companies namely Philippine Seed Industry Association, Pilipinas Kaneko Seeds Corporation, Ramgo International Corporation, Enviro Scope Synergy, Inc., East West Seed Company Inc., Advanta Seed Philippines Inc., Chia Tai Philippines Incorporated, and the Department of Agriculture (DA) - Regional Field Office (RFO) III. This MOA aims for partner institutions to collaborate with farmers and agricultural experts to develop and present high-quality vegetable varieties with improved characteristics.
