The PSAU delegation was welcomed by Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, OIC Vice President for Finance and Administration, by underscoring how similar PSAU and TAU are as both state universities and colleges (SUCs) specialize in agricultural education and research thus, may learn from each other’s supervisory experiences.

Another history unraveled at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU).

Such is how TAU stakeholders regarded the return of National SCUAA (State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association) Games after it was disrupted by the pandemic for five years. Said country-wide SUC sporting event was hosted by Central Luzon on 1-6 October with TAU in the lead.

Dr. Max P. Guillermo, TAU President, said his leadership “envisions TAU to be the home of future Olympians.” However, Dr. Guillermo also shared that the university has to open its doors to national and even international sports tournaments in order to realize this. “Athletes and their coaches need to be exposed to the world's best,” Dr. Guillermo noted while discussing how such initiatives could be worth exploring in the university’s long-term internationalization efforts.
