ON TODAY | Prof. Karen B. Alviar and Mr. Symon Louie Andoy from the Institute of Weed Science, Entomology, and Plant Pathology (IWEP) - UPLB visited the Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC) - TAU to explore potential collaborations on sweetpotato weevil management. Also present during the discussion were CAF faculty members, Dr. Jo-Anne Lynne Joy E. Duque and Ms. Aira F. Waje.

Three faculty researchers from the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY) in Indonesia paid an official visit to Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, SUC President IV of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on 6 August to initiate partnership collaboration mainly focused on research and development.
 
Said UPNVY faculty researchers consist of Prof. Antik Suprihanti, Prof. Rika Ernawati, and Prof. Andreas Mahendro Kuncoro expressed their purpose to expand their academic horizons and exchange insights with TAU in the best interest for research collaboration through this benchmarking visit which included signing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the UPNVY and TAU.

Salunson, convene in front of Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center, 12 August, for the regular weekly flag-raising ceremony.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Faculty members from Tarlac Agricultural University’s College of Arts and Sciences (TAU-CAS) visit Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology’s Regional Center for Indigenous Peoples Education (NEUST-ReCIPE), on 7 August, to know more about NEUST’s secrets behind a well-established Indigenous Peoples (IP) Center.
 
This is a significant milestone in TAU’s plan to establish its own IP center that will ignite new hope to the lives of the indigenous people in Tarlac Province. This initiative of creating an IP Center at TAU resonates deeply with the Commission on Higher Education's (CHED) heed for universities "to foster understanding and appreciation of IP culture."
