𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | By partnering with gov’t. agencies in agro-training, TAU promotes youth empowerment through ‘Binhi ng Pag-asa’ Summit

In cooperation with the Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI) Central Luzon and the Office of Senator Grace Poe (OSGP), the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) facilitated the Binhi ng Pag-asa Provincial Summit at the TAU Farmer’s Training Center (FTC) from 7-8 November.

Said initiative involved delegates from different local government units (LGUs) in Tarlac, aimed to develop the knowledge and skills of participants in agriculture and entrepreneurship-related programs, and sought to inculcate a deeper understanding in agriculture.

In its recent engagement with TAU, DA-ATI Region III conducted a capacity building activity that brought together graduates of the 2024 Binhi ng Pag-asa Program (BPP) across Tarlac. The activity provided a competition in three categories such as BPP project pitching, policy-making competition, and municipal video competition. Participants from the towns of the whole province who joined the capacity building and ranked first in each category will represent their municipality in the upcoming national summit.
