The contract aligns with the implementation of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) as part of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP). TAU receives 100 slots for the 10-day employment where they will be assigned to the TAU facilities.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Office of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), led by its Director, Dr. Jerome D. Soriano, spearheaded a five-day training on Documenting and Establishing ISO 9001:2015 Quality Objectives, at the 456 Hotel, Baguio City, from 25-29 November.

Working towards providing clear targets in the Quality Management System (QMS), TAU-QA gathered the administration officials, QMS internal auditors, document unit heads, and secretariats in a seminar-workshop titled โ€œDocumenting and Establishing ISO 9001:2015 using Process Approach.โ€ The seminar included quality objectives, corresponding monitoring and measurement tools, risk identification, evaluation, and effective records control.

Exhibiting the reliability of the Universityโ€™s disaster response protocol and standards, a team of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) students made a mark by achieving the first place in the First Aid Olympics organized by Red Cross Tarlac Chapter on 22 November.

The event featured two categories: senior high school (SHS) and college. In the college bracket, participants showcased their skills in four challenging stations: bandaging relay, transfer relay, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and situational analysis.
