𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and the Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) in the Philippines sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the OP Conference Room, 17 July, solidifying their cooperation in advancing sustainable farming solutions. 

Fostering innovation and long-term growth through shared expertise and technology, the MOU focuses on collaboration with TAU’s SMART Agriculture Center to enhance knowledge exchange, promote eco-friendly practices, and strengthen capacity-building initiatives for small farmers. Under Taiwan’s International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF), TTM has been actively supporting agricultural cooperatives in Tarlac, Pampanga, and Bulacan.

Delegates from the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) take part in various activities during the Association of State Colleges and Universities - Solid North (ASCU-SN) Mid-Year Sports and Cultural Festival held at the Benguet State University (BSU) from 14-18 July.

The event brings together athletes and cultural performers from 25 State University and Colleges (SUCs) under the theme “Siged ASCU-SN: Celebrating Athleticism, Culture, and Unity.” 

During the sports competitions, TAUians demonstrate standout performance in volleyball, basketball, athletics, archery, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, sepak takraw, darts, Mobile Legends, slow pitch, board games, and others.

With colorful costumes, synchronized footwork, visual storytelling, and dynamic musical expression, artists from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) demonstrate ingenuity and artistry across various cultural competitions during the Association of State Colleges and Universities - Solid North (ASCU-SN) Mid-Year Sports and Cultural Festival held at Benguet State University (BSU) from 14–18 July.

TAUians showcase their skills and passion through entries in the Hip Hop Dance competition, Battle of the Bands, Laro ng Lahi, and Photography contest. The University also joins the Search for Mister and Miss ASCU-SN 2025, showcasing poise, intellect, and cultural identity.

Prof. Cecile L. Lapitan, Director of the Sociocultural Development Office (SDO) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), participates in the “Academic Venture for Strengthening Partnership, Cultural Exchange, and Presentation,” an international engagement organized by the Culture and the Arts Association of State Universities and Colleges (CAASUC) - Region III. This initiative brings together thirty (30) key officials and cultural heads from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Central Luzon from 22 to 27 July in Taiwan.

Representing TAU, Prof. Lapitan joins fellow academic leaders in the Ceremonial Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with two universities in Taiwan – Kainan University (KNU) and National Chi Nan University (NCNU).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | In collaboration with the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC), TAU officials and volunteers prepare relief supplies including essential goods, medicines, and food items at the Administration Building Atrium, 23 July, to be delivered to TAU employees who are affected by the recent flooding brought about by intense monsoon rains and typhoon. The initiative is carried out upon the directive of TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC Salunson, together with university officials, as part of the institution’s coordinated response to the situation.

Two students from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU)—Jayron Mark R. Dela Cruz of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and Alyzanett G. Eugenio of the College of Education (CED)—mark their first global academic milestone as they participate in the International Student Mobility 2025 at Universitas Pancasakti Tegal (UPT), Indonesia, from 24 to 28 July.

Throughout their five-day academic and cultural immersion, Dela Cruz and Eugenio are set to join workshops and interactive sessions, witness traditional Indonesian art performances, and explore the intricate Batik dyeing process. Their itinerary also includes educational visits to the Semedo Museum, Guci Forest, Desa Cempaka, and other heritage landmarks, enriching their awareness of the country's historical and cultural landscape.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community reminds its stakeholders that classes and work at the University remain suspended on 24 July, per advisory from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

According to the latest announcement from the national weather bureau, the Municipality of Camiling and nearby areas may still experience heavy rainfall, increasing the likelihood of flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
