𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Following the activation of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Incident Management Team (IMT) for weather disturbances, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson—University President, together with Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo—Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA), leads the initial meeting in preparation for an on-site inspection of various University facilities to assess the effects of the recent heavy rainfall caused by the enhanced southwest monsoon, 25 July.
After the briefing, Dr. Salunson and Dr. Lorenzo proceed with a walkthrough of the entire campus, accompanied by the IMT headed by Incident Commander Dr. Joven D. Valdez. The team inspects buildings and infrastructure to evaluate damage, recommend immediate response strategies, and identify necessary repairs resulting from Typhoons Dante and Emong.
To strengthen the assessment process, the Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) team, led by Ar. Alvin R. Dela Vega, joins the IMT to examine the electrical systems, carpentry, and structural integrity of the University’s buildings, as well as to inspect crop fields and livestock areas.
Ar. Dela Vega is joined by representatives from security services, medical services, general services, auxiliary services, and housing and dormitory services, forming a multidisciplinary unit for comprehensive evaluation.
