Dr. Salunson passionately champions the theme "Kawayan ng Kinabukasan: Likas na Yaman, Gawang Tarlaqueรฑo," framing the humble bamboo as a resilient and sustainable material for Tarlac's robust economic growth, unique cultural identity, and promising future anchored on innovation, and pledging his full support to the farmers, artisans, and entrepreneurs who will bring such visions to life.

Bolstering the institutionโ€™s quality assurance system, officials from the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) convene at the Bulacan State University (BulSU) E-Library Audio Visual Room - B (AVR-B) on 18 September, and conduct a benchmarking activity on the Philippine Quality Awards (PQA).


BulSU President Dr. Teody C. San Andres personally welcomes the TAU delegates, headed by the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA), Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, together with Dr. Mayleen Dorcas B. Castro, BulSU Deputy Director for International and Local Certifications and Awards.

Students and employees of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are trading their classroom and office tasks for fieldwork as the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) and the Business and Auxiliary Services (BAS) Office jointly organize Rice Planting Days, 16-18 September.ย 

This hands-on activity provides the participants with a unique opportunity to learn the traditional and modern techniques of rice cultivation firsthand and know more about the daily struggles of farmers.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Gender and Development (GAD) office led by Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo along with TAUโ€™s GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) took a proactive step to strengthen its GAD initiatives through a benchmarking activity with the officials from Central Luzon State University (CLSU) at the Administration Conference Room Old Building of CLSU in Muรฑoz, Nueva Ecija, 10 September.

Dr. Nardo and the TAU GFPS met with the Director of the University Gender and Development Office of CLSU - Dr. Mercedita M. Reyes, who presented CLSUโ€™s GAD Financial Assistance Program for Students, installation of gender-neutral toilets in various university areas, and scholarship programs.

Meet Abednego P. Yuro, a student from the College of Business and Management (CBM) at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), who participated in the Community and Technological (CommTECH) Camp Highlight Stream 2 organized by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Indonesia, held from 28 August to 8 September, 2025.

Watch this video as he shares his academic and cultural experiences during his twelve-day stay in Indonesia. Through this global opportunity, he was able to take part in ITS workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions, play games and traditional instruments, and explore famous sites in the countryโ€”giving us a glimpse of Indonesiaโ€™s vibrant culture and landscapes.
