Faculty members from the College of Agriculture and Forestry of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) bagged First Place Best Poster Category at the 6th International Conference on Education, Environment, and Agriculture (ICEEA), held at Universitas Warmadewa (UNWAR) in Bali, Indonesia, on September 18-19, 2025.

The team is composed of Mr. Julius Rae R. Allam, Ms. Maidas L. Anson, Ms. Minda M. Mondiguing, and Ms. Mileatte P. Omaney. During the international presentation, Mr. Allam represented the team by presenting their research study titled โ€œConservation of Order Lepidopteran (Butterfly) in Sitio Calao, San Jose, Tarlac - Forest Reserve.โ€

After sessions of preliminary common modules, the National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) officially commences the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) course through a formal opening ceremony at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center, 20 September.ย 

The said kickoff is honored by the Guest of Honor and Speaker Col. Leonardo A. Soratos, Director for 302 CDC, 3RCDG, RESCOM, PA, and Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (VPRET), who represents TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson.

Pursuing academic excellence through strengthened quality assurance, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through the Quality and Assurance Office, led by its Director Dr. Jerome D. Soriano, continues to conduct a benchmarking activity and proceeds to Tarlac State University (TSU) for another exchange of quality assurance practices at TSU Main Campus on 19 September.

During the program, TAU officials engage in a discussion on TSUโ€™s Quality Journey with Dr. Niรฑo B. Corpuz, the Director of Quality Assurance in TSU.

Through this benchmarking initiative, TAU-Quality Assurance Office continues to sustain a culture of quality and excellence that aligns with national and international standards in higher education.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through the Office of Student Services and Development - Student Welfare Unit and the Guidance and Counseling Office, continues its commitment to student well-being and holds the โ€œBeyond the Storm: Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Awareness Seminarโ€ on TAU Amphitheater - Student and Alumni Center, 19 September.

The said activity aims to deepen the understanding of mental health issues and serves as a safe space for students in addressing challenges that may lead to self-harm and suicide.

TAU Guidance Counsellors assist the learners and conduct a collaborative discussion on different aspects of mental health awareness.

In pursuit of inclusive and sustainable development, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, carries out its 3rd Quarter GAD Meeting to Strengthen Gender and Development Initiatives at the Farmersโ€™ Training Center - OSITS, 19 September.

The activity brings together the members of the GFPS Executive Committee, TWG, and Secretariat, led by the GAD Director Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo, who centers the discussion about the GAD Agenda 2025โ€“2030, GAD Plan and Budget, and Proposal-based Activities for GAD.
