To promote a healthier and inclusive community, the Gender and Development (GAD) office of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) conducts a seminar titled β€œCultivating Respect: Navigating Power Dynamics and Combating Workplace Bullying for Healthier TAU” gathering select faculty members and non-teaching staff on 5 December, at the AgriTourism Function Hall.

Serving as the resource speaker, Dr. Marianne P. Villaruel, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) office and former GAD director, empowers the participants by educating them about the roots and impact of workplace bullying and the role of power relations in daily interactions.

Throughout the seminar, Dr. Villaruel emphasizes how power dynamics influence behavior and the importance of awareness and accountability.Β

The said activity aims to help the TAU community identify practices that may contribute to hostile work environments and strategies to address them.
