Following its debut last year in the Asia University Rankings (AUR) of the Times Higher Education (THE), the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) once again joined the reputable AUR and obtained a “reporter” status per pronouncements released on 30 April.
An international avenue for academic excellence and comprehensive research based in the UK, THE used 18 performance indicators of THE World University Rankings (WUR) and firmly calibrates 1,127 Asian universities’ attributes across the 31 countries and territories based on their performances under teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 | TAU-DRD stages 1st research congress; seeks to foster research culture, empower student-innovators
Aiming to set up an avenue to present the different research studies conducted by students, the Department of Research and Development (DRD) of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) organized the first-ever Student Research Congress at the Student and Alumni Center Amphitheater on 3 May.
Anchored on the theme, "Pioneering Progress: Unveiling Student Innovation Through Research," the research congress, which was participated in by student presenters, student research leaders, advisers, and faculty researchers from the six colleges of the University, intended to showcase undergraduate research, foster cross-disciplinary connections, and facilitate presentation, analysis, and critique of findings, encouraging interaction and improvement across various fields and backgrounds.
