𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Unit of Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) General Services Office (GSO) facilitates the flag-raising ceremony in front of the Learning Resource Center (LRC), 19 February. 

In the said gathering, TAU President Dr. Max P. Guillermo announces the upcoming visit to the university of Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, Commanding General of the Philippine Army (CGPA). As a former Commander of the 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division and Western Mindanao Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Lt. Gen. Galido dedicated most of his career in the pursuit of peace and security in Mindanao.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Offices and units under the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration (OVPFA) gather for their Cluster Annual Performance Review and Strategic Planning Workshop, 16 February.

Led by Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of OVPFA, the meeting centers on the previous year’s targets, accomplishments, and major challenges. Also, the group conducts initial discussions to identify plans of actions and catch-up plans. 

There are 15 units under OVPFA which are further merged into four umbrella subgroups: Administrative Services; Finance Services; General Services; and Business and Auxiliary Services.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Fourth-year students of the College of Business and Management (CBM) attend the Pre-Deployment Orientation Seminar, organized by the Placement Services Unit, at the Continuing Education Center (CEC) on 18 January.

The event aims to prepare the students for their on-the-job training (OJT) and guide them in fulfilling internship requirements. Invited resource speakers also spearhead discussions on ethical behavior, stress management, and workplace harassment.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Representatives from the 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion of the Philippine Army and Local Government Unit (LGU) of the Municipality of Mayantoc interact with Dr. Max P. Guillermo, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President, for a consultative dialogue on youth empowerment. Leading the visiting delegation is 2LT Art Leonard S. Alce of the 7th Infantry Division.

Said meeting revolves around the conduct of the annual Youth Leadership Summit for youth leaders of Mayantoc’s 24 barangays which is proposed to be held at TAU’s Forest Reserve on 14-16 February.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Placement Services Unit under the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (OVPSAS) facilitates a turnover ceremony involving officials and staff of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) Philippines Corporation on 16 January.

To reaffirm its commitment to supporting the university’s ongoing push for SMART Campus development, CPF donates electronic devices like notebook computers, system units, printers, and CCTV cameras.

Representing TAU, Dr. Max P. Guillermo, personally receives the equipment from Ms. Mayvelyn D. Arcas, CPF’s IT Section Manager.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | In coordination with the Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), the leadership of Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) Administrative Council renews the temporary contracts of 49 faculty members, promotes two (2) staff members to temporary status, and designates eight ( 8 ) more as permanent instructors on 8 and 15 January.

Commended by Dr. Max P. Guillermo, TAU President, for their contributions to the development of their respective colleges, the 59 appointees are also encouraged to serve the university with persistence, patience, and passion for teaching and innovation.
