ππππππππππ | TAU joins 64 PHEIs in WURI Global Innovative Universities list
As announced by the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) during the 4th Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) Conference at Franklin University, Switzerland on 7 May, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has been ranked for the fourth consecutive time, just 10 places beyond the Global Top 100 of the worldβs most innovative universities.
With 65 Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs), TAU placed seventh in the national ranking. TAU also led in Central Luzon, in a list that includes four PHEIs from Region 3.
Aside from the overall ranking, TAU also obtained spots in three categories. The Universityβs entry in the Student Support and Engagement entitled RACE Against Suicide: A Suicide Prevention Program for Students, claimed the 17th spot. Developed by the Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD), said undertaking highlighted an intensified suicide awareness campaign, comprehensive mental health assessment, and mental health counseling as intervention.
ππππππππ ππ ππππ | Committed to fostering a healthy workplace where all its employees maintain optimal health and well-being, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through its Medical and Dental Services Unit/Office, initiates the week-long Annual Medical Examination (AME) at the Farmers' Training Center (FTC) on 3 June to 7 June.
The Medical and Dental Unit encourages the participation of everyone in the AME, covering electrocardiogram (ECG), full-abdomen ultrasound, x-ray, urinalysis, blood chemistry, and drug test, as this is a proactive step towards ensuring a healthier, happier, and more productive TAU community.

Facilitated by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) via Zoom, the online assessment will run until 7 June.

Newly-elected Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson requests for the cooperation of TAU stakeholders as he assumes office on 3 June 2024. Dr. Salunson tells TAUians to reconcile and act in concert for the benefit of the University.
The TAU President also thanks former President Dr. Max P. Guillermo for laying the foundation for a stronger and more sustainable University during his 14-year tenure.
ππππππππππ | TAU lauds 1,198 graduates in 78th commencement rites
Rejoicing family members and friends gathered together at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center to witness this year's graduating students of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), clad in symbolic caps and gowns, marched triumphantly on the stage to receive their diplomas as acknowledgment for the completion of their academic journey during the University's 78th Commencement Exercises, May 31.
A total of 1,198 graduates were conferred by Dr. Max P. Guillermo, TAU President, for second semester of academic year 2023-2024 - 661 of whom were from the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF); 135 from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS); 168 from the College of Business and Management (CBM); 103 from the College of Education (CEd); 78 from the College of Engineering and Technology (CET); and, 53 from the College of Veterinary Medicine (IVM).
