The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community is honored to welcome Dr. Constante J. Palabrica as the Guest of Honor and Speaker for the afternoon session of the 79th Commencement Exercises on 6 June 2025, celebrating the graduates of the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) and the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM).
With a career marked by visionary leadership and groundbreaking work in livestock development, animal health, and public service, Dr. Palabrica currently serves as Undersecretary for Livestock at the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the country’s Chief Veterinary Officer to the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH).
Affectionately known as “Dr. Dante,” he has been instrumental in spearheading national programs such as the local production of ASF vaccines and pork supply stabilization, and previously led Robina Farms to become a leading name in the piggery industry. A proud alumnus of the University of the Philippines Diliman and a recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award for Agribusiness, Dr. Palabrica remains a strong advocate for agricultural innovation, food security, and the development of future Filipino agripreneurs.
