Representatives from the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) attended the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) - Capability Enhancement and Mid-Year Conference which is anchored on the goal of strengthening regional academic collaboration and improving the standards of international education, hosted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in collaboration with Saint Louis University (SLU) at the Ion Hotel Amber Hall, Baguio City, on 24-25 April 2025.
Through this conference, Dr. Benny S. Soliman, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) and Mr. Abner P. Maรฑebog Jr., Technical Staff for International Mobility of ELIA, were able to engage in collaborative discussions and strategic planning that directly focused on improving theย capacity of AIMS Philippines by enhancing its program effectiveness, inclusivity, and impact assessment mechanisms.
Along with TAU, representatives from other institutions were also present, namely Ateneo De Manila University, Batangas State University, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, Central Luzon State University, Central Mindanao University, De La Salle University, Lyceum of the Philippines โ Batangas, MAPUA University, Mariano Marcos State University, Saint Louis University, St. Paul University Philippines, University of Mindanao, University of St. La Salle, University of the Philippines, Visayas State University, CHED International Affairs Service (IAS), Higher Education Development Fund Staff (HEDFS), Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS), and Administrative, Financial and Management Service (AFMS).
The AIMS program is a regional collaborative initiative of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization - Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development (SEAMEO-RIHED) that aims to further augment the quality and quantity of student mobility across global countries.
