Dr. Krestel Joy V. Isla, a faculty member of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), served as a guest lecturer on the topic Ethnoveterinary Medicine and Toxicology to undergraduate veterinary students at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) on 28 May.

The lecture, conducted via Zoom, was part of the Veterinary Pharmacotherapy and Toxicology course under UGMโ€™s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Isla, who specializes in herbal toxicology, shared her expertise in the integration of traditional medicinal practices in veterinary pharmacology.

This academic collaboration is part of the continuing faculty exchange initiative intended at providing international academic collaboration and fostering research synergies between TAU and UGM.

UGM, founded in 1949 in Yogyakarta, is a leading Indonesian public research university. Ranked second in Indonesia and 263rd globally in QS 2024, UGM is the first to admit native Indonesians widely.
