ππππππππ ππ ππππ | Following the holiday break, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community gathers in various areas of the University for a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony, 21 April.
At the Learning Resource Center (LRC), Vice President for Research, Extension and Training (VPRET) Dr. Edmar N. Franquera extends his warm welcome to the students and employees and emphasizes the renewed commitment following the recent Holy Week observance and encourages everyone to carry the spirit of reflection and dedication into their work.
Meanwhile at the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and College of Education (CEd) - Laboratory School (LS) grounds, faculty and students convene for the simultaneous flag-hoisting and kick off the start of hybrid classes per approval of the proposal on the revised class schedule due to extreme heat currently experienced in Camiling, Tarlac.
The hybrid setup introduces alternating class days to reduce on-campus congestion, optimize energy use, and safeguard the health and well-being of students. Fridays are reserved for asynchronous activities, consultations, make-up classes (face-to-face or online), or project work while Mondays to Thursdays remain the same for the set of classes except every morning is approved as onsite and afternoons are set for virtual classes.
This adjustment underscores TAUβs flexibility and commitment to maintaining academic quality while prioritizing the safety of its stakeholders.Β
