Teodoro Multipurpose Center, on 16 May. With the theme "Empowering Future Educators: Training on Essential Laws for Fostering Safe Learning Environments," the seminar underscores the crucial role of educators in protecting students’ rights and promoting inclusive, abuse-free classrooms.

Dr. Marianne P. Villaruel, Director of Student Placement Office, discusses the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act (RA 7877) and the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), using real-life examples and role-playing to illustrate how harassment occurs and how to respond while Atty. Andrey Bjon RDS. Castañeda, Legal Assistant, explains the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse Act (RA 7610) and the Anti-Bullying Act (RA 10627), reminding CEd students that schools must serve as safe zones for all learners.
