𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐕𝐌 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤
 
The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), led by its Dean, Dr. Lavina Gracia M. Ramirez, organized a three-day celebration of its long-held advocacy on animal welfare through seminars and games from 26 to 28 February.
 
Celebrating the bond between humans and animals, the event kicked off with a parade of various pets, followed by a pet show led by the Veterinary Student Achievers’ Society (VSAS) TAU Chapter at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center. Throughout the first day, CVM students engaged in informative seminars on aquaculture and emerging trends in veterinary medicine, hands-on workshops, and traditional games like “Laro ng Lahi,” to name a few.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | With the assistance from the Student Welfare Unit (SWU) under the Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD), hundreds of aspiring TAUians take the Tarlac Agricultural University - College Admission Test (TAU-CAT) at the Student and Alumni Center Amphitheater, 4 March.
 
Hoping to advance their academic journey in college, Batch 2 examinees of the TAU-CAT navigate a series of challenging questions, determined to earn a spot in the University’s curricular offerings.

The whole University community solemnly observes Ash Wednesday, 5 March, marking the beginning of Lenten Season. As ashes are imposed on the faithful’s foreheads, Catholics are invited to embrace humility, prayer, and acts of compassion, setting the tone for a transformative 40-day journey toward Easter.

Led by TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson and the Administrative Council (AdCo), the discussion takes place at the Farmers’ Training Center on 4 March.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | In line with the Circular Letter No. 2015-8, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) - Regional Office III conducts an on-site Full-time Delivery Unit (FDU) validation for the FY 2024 with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) for its year-end agency performance, at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Hall, 4 March.
 
The University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson along with the TAU FDU team engages in the validation, and presents the physical and financial accomplishments of the University’s current and previous years’ infrastructure projects funded by the General Appropriations Act (GAA) R.A. No. 11975. The discussion aims to address challenges and accelerate the completion of projects.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Reminding drivers and vehicle owners to abide by Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Memorandum No. 006, S.2025, also known as “No Vehicle Sticker, No Entry Policy”, the University’s security force engages TAU stakeholders and guests at the main gate, 5 March.
 
Released by the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration (OVPFA) to “ensure safety and protection of lives and property in the entire campus,” the directive, dated 28 February, compels in-house and private security personnel to deny access to University premises for unregistered vehicles. Visitors will be issued a gate pass provided they present valid identification cards. The memo further recommends sanctions for violators.

The campaign is part of a month-long Purple Wednesday project, championed at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) by the Gender and Development (GAD) Office and nationally, by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), in celebration of the International Women’s Day on 8 March.
