𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 | TAU joins 64 PHEIs in WURI Global Innovative Universities list

As announced by the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) during the 4th Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) Conference at Franklin University, Switzerland on 7 May, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has been ranked for the fourth consecutive time, just 10 places beyond the Global Top 100 of the world’s most innovative universities.

With 65 Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs), TAU placed seventh in the national ranking. TAU also led in Central Luzon, in a list that includes four PHEIs from Region 3.

Aside from the overall ranking, TAU also obtained spots in three categories. The University’s entry in the Student Support and Engagement entitled RACE Against Suicide: A Suicide Prevention Program for Students, claimed the 17th spot. Developed by the Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD), said undertaking highlighted an intensified suicide awareness campaign, comprehensive mental health assessment, and mental health counseling as intervention.
