CAPTURED IN LENS | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) holds a flag-raising ceremony at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 19 May, led by the Library Services in collaboration with the TAU Chorale. The event highlights the first-ever visit of Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, who also chairs the TAU Board of Regents.

A key moment of the ceremony focuses on the unveiling of TAU’s new strategic framework led by Dr. Apag, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, and the three vice presidents. Designed to streamline and optimize academic development, research innovations, and community partnerships, said operational blueprint was made official via Board Resolution No. 22, s. 2025.

𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 | 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥

Acknowledging the contributions of its non-teaching workforce, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) took part in the inaugural observance of the National Education Support Personnel Day, 16 May, with a wellness event offering spa, salon, and cinema services for members of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA).

TAU treated its non-teaching staff to free full-body massages, manicures, pedicures, and haircuts at the Agri-Tourism Hostel and Bamboo Training Center (BTC). Staff awaiting their turn also relaxed at a whole-day film screening hosted at the Student and Alumni Center, while a nutritious buffet lunch kept spirits high, offering workmates a chance to bond over meals. 

Exemplifying his administration’s genuine appreciation, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson stated that the non-teaching staff form the backbone of the University, calling them indispensable to maintaining its operations and upholding educational excellence.

As Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) proudly participates in the inaugural observance of National Education Support Personnel Day on 16 May,  Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Administration, shares that the University recognizes its non-teaching personnel as indispensable partners in achieving academic excellence, acknowledging their silent yet vital contributions in maintaining operations, enabling innovation, and ensuring TAU remains future-ready.

Ms. Juan further notes that TAU encourages its non-teaching workforce to take a well-deserved break, celebrate their achievements, and enjoy this moment of appreciation.

The Institut Teknologi Sepuluh (ITS) Nopember, Indonesia is inviting students, academic staff and non-teaching personnel of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) for the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: “Solving Local Problems with Global Knowledge” featuring two sessions – Stream 1: Innovations in Engineering which will take place on 21 July to 1 August 2025 and Stream 2: Creativepreneurship on 28 August to 8 September 2025 in Surabaya, Indonesia.

Both sessions will offer relevant courses under Streams 1 and 2 to the participants through seminars and workshops. They will also try Indonesian cuisine, learn basic Bahasa, and visit popular sites in the country during their 11-day stay.
