𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐑 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦; 𝐓𝐀𝐔 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

Five BS Psychology students from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) have successfully passed the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA)™ examination administered by the Human Resource Educators' Association of the Philippines (HREAP). 

TAU takers recorded a 100% passing rate while the national passing rate stood at 76.45%. The passers from TAU include Batch 58's Ciara Jhenell C. Rivera, Jenny Rose S. Bajade, and Marcus Kean Q. Catacutan, as well as Batch 59's Angelica Mae V. Gaerlan and Diana Mae G. Castro. 

CAS Dean Dr. Sherwin S. Alar praised the CAS students for acing the said certification exam. “We will continue to support you in every way we can,” Dr. Alar said, adding that the Department of Psychology, primarily, will provide more training and coaching sessions for future takers to develop skills relevant to human resource work.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Ensuring the effective delivery of research and extension services through proper budget allocation, the Commission on Audit (COA) holds an Entrance Conference for Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Room, 4 June.

Representing COA are Atty. Meliza Joy P. Manalo, Audit Team Leader (Officer-in-Charge), and Mr. Jay Mer G. Tabugan, Audit Team Member, while TAU is led by its President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson. The meeting serves as a platform to strengthen TAU’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and evidence-based project execution.

For many students, finishing a degree and earning a diploma is the culmination of years of burning the midnight oil. From late-night study sessions to stressful school activities, one can’t help but wonder why the road to success is one built on back-breaking toil and great personal sacrifices.

Mr. Liujay E. Agustin, a graduand from the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), recounted his extraordinary journey toward earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

Like many young dreamers, Mr. Agustin once aspired to achieve success and lift his family out of poverty. But fate intervened when his parents separated, forcing him to develop an extraordinary resilience even at a young age.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) proudly announces the Conferment of the Doctor of Education, honoris causa, degree upon Senator Joel “TESDAMAN” Villanueva, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Labor, Employment, and Human Resources Development. The bestowal ceremony will be held alongside TAU’s 79th Commencement Exercises on 5 June 2025.

Senator Villanueva becomes the 14th distinguished individual to receive this prestigious academic honor from TAU since it first started awarding honorary doctorate degrees in 2000. His exceptional contributions to nation-building as a two-term Senator, former Secretary of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and three-term Representative of CIBAC Partylist reflect a lifelong commitment to transformative education, uncompromising integrity, and inclusive development. TAU honors Senator Villanueva’s enduring advocacy for technical-vocational training, youth empowerment, and ethical leadership.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | To enhance TAUians' employability and foster strong industry linkages, graduating students and alumni of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) take part in the University Career Fair 2025 at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center On 3 June.

An initiative spearheaded by the Student Placement Office (SPO) and Alumni Relations Office (ARO), said Job Fair convenes recruiters from several companies to engage with attendees through on-site interviews and screenings to evaluate potential candidates. The Philippine Red Cross and government agencies such as Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, and PhilHealth also assist the job seekers in the registration process.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝐂𝐕𝐌 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯.

Dr. Krestel Joy V. Isla, a faculty member of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), served as a guest lecturer on the topic Ethnoveterinary Medicine and Toxicology to undergraduate veterinary students at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) on 28 May.

The lecture, conducted via Zoom, was part of the Veterinary Pharmacotherapy and Toxicology course under UGM’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Isla, who specializes in herbal toxicology, shared her expertise in the integration of traditional medicinal practices in veterinary pharmacology.
