𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐑 | 𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬

With a calm smile that mirrors the dedication of a passionate public servant, a gentle tone that soothes even in the busiest days, and a consistent act of respect toward everyone, Ms. Precious Joy S. Corpuz has become a true reflection of the Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) core value of courtesy in public service after gaining the highest score of 92.67% and awarded as the Most Courteous. The recognition comes as part of TAU’s participation in the nationwide celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) themed “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan,” held at Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 29 September.

In honoring Ms. Corpuz and other awardees of Katangi-tanging Kawani ng Gobyerno sa iba't-ibang Larangan, TAU not only celebrates their achievement but also reaffirms its culture of compassionate service and ethical leadership.

Every morning, Ms. Corpuz greets everyone with her bright smile, a small gesture that sets a positive tone. Whether assisting a student, helping a co-worker, or performing her duties as the University’s Project Development Officer I, she  always responds with patience and grace. “To be honest, this award is unexpected, but despite that, it validates my efforts in being respectful and approachable. I also believe that people, regardless of ranks, should be treated with respect and empathy. On a professional level, this award serves as a proof that I am focused on building human-centered connections,” she mentioned. 

“What drives me to continue serving and giving my best is knowing that my efforts are valued and appreciated. I am honored and deeply humbled to receive this award. While my name is on this award, I just want to say that this is not a solo achievement but also for my peers and co-workers, especially my Planning and Development Office (PDO) family. We are part of it and thank you so much,” she added.

Furthermore, Ms. Corpuz stated that she will continue to serve as a model public servant and inspire others to uphold the same values of kindness, dedication, and courtesy in their work.
