𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐂𝐨π₯π₯πšπ›π¨π«πšπ­π’π¨π§ 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐒𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐒𝐭𝐑 𝐋𝐃𝐒𝐒𝐀

To formally present the partnership initiatives between Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a courtesy call with Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, University President, is initiated at the Office of the University President (OUP) Conference Hall, 1 October.

Prof. Rizalina M. Tablarin, one of the faculty advisers of TAU Latter Day Saints Students Association (LDSSA), leads the visit and introduces Elder Ricard Manahan of the Area Seventy; Resty Bajarin, President of the Philippines Camiling Stake; Mr. Richard Espinosa, Manager of WSR for North and Central Luzon area; Bishop Andy Dela Cruz of Camiling Ward 1; LDSSA President Marc Anthony Zambrano and Vice President Normel Gagelonia to TAU officials.

After the dialogue with Dr. Salunson, Prof. Tablarin opens up the discussion on the establishment of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TAU and Benson Scholarship for LDS members pursuing agriculture and agriculture-related courses as well as with the Perpetual Education Fund (PEF) which will serve as a partial scholarship for non-agricultural students.

In addition, Prof. Tablarin along with Dr. Alar also engages in a proposal for extension projects with Brigham Young University (BYU) Hawaii that includes the BYU Pathway Connect in line with the requested TAU Multi Faith Building which can be an extension site of the Global Education Center in Cebu.
