The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the Student Placement Office (SPO) led by its Director Dr. Benny S. Soliman holds a Career Pathing Seminar with the theme βFrom Dreams to Decisions: Crafting Your Career Path,β gathering junior and senior high school students at the Student and Alumni Center - Amphitheater on 10 December.
The morning session focuses on Grade 10 students. Guidance Associate Ms. Maisie Tereze E. Agustin discusses understanding personality, strengths, interests, and career fit. Guidance Counselor III Ms. Neptune A. Solar follows with a talk on transitioning from junior high to senior high and choosing the right academic track. The session includes an open forum and the awarding of certificates.
In the afternoon, Grade 12 students participate in sessions that center on self-discovery and college readiness. Guidance Counselor III Ms. Maria C. Tabago presents βDiscovering Yourself: The Foundation of Career Success,β while Instructor I Ms. Janine C. Gonzales discusses mapping personal career paths and selecting the right course and college. The program continues with a question-and-answer segment and the awarding of certificates.
By ensuring that students transition smoothly from junior high to senior high and eventually to college, TAU aims to guide them in making informed and confident decisions about their academic and career choices.
