The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) remains one of the leading higher education institutions in Central Luzon, according to the latest uniRank University Ranking.

For 2025, TAU is ranked 9th in Region III. Notably, the University holds the 102nd rank nationally and ranks as the second top university within Tarlac Province. This placement highlights TAU's significant standing and influence within the academic community, affirming its role as a nationally recognized and globally competitive center of higher learning and innovation.

uniRank's methodology sets it apart by relying exclusively on independent web intelligence sources to create its league table. Instead of relying on data submitted by universities, it analyzes unbiased web metrics to assess an institution's online presence and digital footprint. Therefore, TAU's ranking primarily reflects its institutional digital engagement strategy.

The listing also identifies prominent universities that meet specific criteria, including proper government accreditation, the offering of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, and a primary focus on traditional, face-to-face learning. The University of the Philippines Diliman leads the national ranking.
