The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - National Service Training Program (NSTP), teams up with the Philippine National Police (PNP) - Camiling during the lecture series on drug education and awareness at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center and the TAU Covered Court on 6 September.
PMSg Jayson DC. Doctor, Community Affairs and Development Police Non-Commissioned Officer of the Camiling Municipal Police Station, emphasizes the dangers of drug abuse and the legal consequences associated with it, followed by an orientation on earthquake preparedness by TAU University Disaster Risk Reduction Management (UDRRM) coordinator, Mr. Ronimo G. Ubaldo.
In addition, Mr. Mark Anthony L. Bagsit, Chairperson of the TAU Department of Forestry and Engr. Jesus A. Tolentino, Chief of TAU Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) also tackled the importance of becoming responsible members of the community by avoiding actions that could harm the environment such as improper waste disposal. These forums were conducted before students select one of the three components of the NSTP: the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), the Literacy Training Service (LTS), and the Reserve Officersโ Training Corps (ROTC).
