The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) proved its continuous excellence in providing successful and competent graduates as it produced 27 newly licensed foresters in the October 2025 Foresters Licensure Examination, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
This year, TAU-CAF recorded an impressive 69.23% passing rate, marking a substantial increase from last yearโs 40% performance. This achievement reflects the universityโs steadfast commitment to academic quality and professional development.
Dr. Sinamar E. Estudillo, Dean of CAF, expressed pride in the collective effort that led to this milestone. โAs an institution, we remain steadfast in our commitment to continuously improving our board exam results. We will persist in enhancing our curriculum, strengthening faculty development, and providing the best possible learning environment to ensure even greater success in the years to come,โ she said.
โWe extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the successful passers of the recent Forestry Licensure Examination. Your dedication, perseverance, and hard work have truly paid off, and this achievement marks a significant milestone in your journey as future stewards of our natural resources. We also commend our esteemed faculty for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and mentorship. Your guidance has played a pivotal role in shaping our students into competent and responsible professionals,โ she further added.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mark Anthony L. Bagsit, Chairperson of the Department of Forestry, expressed his appreciation and commended the passers.
โSobrang overwhelming and full of gratitude. This milestone truly inspires us to keep striving for excellence in forestry education and professional practice. Congratulations everyone and to the whole TAU community,โ he shared.
