Through the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) and the Department of Extension and Training (DET), the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) joins forces with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Tarlac Irrigation Management Office (IMO) and the Tarlac CIS Federation to launch the "HANAPBUHAY" (Handog na Alternatibong Negosyo at Pagsasanay para sa Pandagdag PangkaBUHAYan ng mga Magsasaka) livelihood program at the NIA Conference Hall in Concepcion, 14 October.Β
This initiative, facilitated by Dr. Catherine DR. Pueyo, CET Assistant Dean, kicks off a series of training designed to equip local farmers with essential skills for alternative entrepreneurship and supplemental income. Collaborating stakeholders, including TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson also delivers inspirational messages to inaugurate the program and empower agricultural communities in Tarlac.
