The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) joined the nation in commencing the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) Anniversary during its flag-raising ceremony at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on Monday, 1 September.

Emphasizing the values of public service and excellence in governance, the AKDA, TAU Performing Guild (PG), and TAU Chorale opened the 125th celebration with a dynamic presentation that underscored the significance of diverse roles in public service and the shared commitment that sustains organizational success in line with this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œBawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan.โ€

Following the ceremony with students, faculty, and non-teaching staff, participants gathered inside the Hall for the screening of video teasers showcasing the upcoming activities for the September celebration, along with the video message of President Ferdinand โ€œBongbongโ€ R. Marcos Jr.

In an announcement made by Ms. Maricel D. Felipe, Chief of the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU), the University will spearhead a series of activities and encourage all employees to take part. These include the Capacity Building Program on 2โ€“3 September; the Tree Planting Activity; โ€œTara! Laro TAUโ€ every Friday; the Awarding of Katangi-Tanging Kawani at Guro ng Unibersidad on 26 September; and Buhay Bida/Lakbay Bida.
