The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) joined the nation in commencing the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) Anniversary during its flag-raising ceremony at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on Monday, 1 September.
Emphasizing the values of public service and excellence in governance, the AKDA, TAU Performing Guild (PG), and TAU Chorale opened the 125th celebration with a dynamic presentation that underscored the significance of diverse roles in public service and the shared commitment that sustains organizational success in line with this yearโs theme, โBawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan.โ
Following the ceremony with students, faculty, and non-teaching staff, participants gathered inside the Hall for the screening of video teasers showcasing the upcoming activities for the September celebration, along with the video message of President Ferdinand โBongbongโ R. Marcos Jr.
In an announcement made by Ms. Maricel D. Felipe, Chief of the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU), the University will spearhead a series of activities and encourage all employees to take part. These include the Capacity Building Program on 2โ3 September; the Tree Planting Activity; โTara! Laro TAUโ every Friday; the Awarding of Katangi-Tanging Kawani at Guro ng Unibersidad on 26 September; and Buhay Bida/Lakbay Bida.
Meanwhile, representing University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (VPPQA), Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco reaffirmed TAUโs dedication to shaping globally competitive graduates while also strengthening a culture of service among its stakeholders.
