Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) successfully conducted an Orientation on the 2025 Omnibus Rules on the Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) on 10 February 2026 at the TAUโContinuing Education Center Function Hall. The activity was initiated through the collaborative efforts of the Chief Administrative Offices ofย Finance and the Administration through the Human Resource Office, reaffirming the Universityโs commitment to good governance and ethical public service.
The program formally opened with the welcome remarks delivered by the Vice President for Finance and Administration, who read the speech of the University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson. In his message, Dr. Salunson emphasized the importance of the orientation as a vital mechanism for public servants to consistently uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability in the performance of their duties. He officially welcomed all TAU personnel from both the academic and non-academic sectors.
Following the welcome message, the Chief Administrative Officer for Administration, Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, presented the objectives of the activity and discussed the salient features of the 2025 Omnibus Rules on SALN, providing participants with a clear understanding of its purpose and scope. This was followed by a comprehensive discussion led by the Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, Mr. Dante A. Revamonte, who thoroughly explained the provisions, requirements, and proper accomplishment of the SALN.ย In the discussion of Mr. Revamonte, the attendees are able to ask questions on various aspects concerning the filing of SALN to avoid confusion and misinterpretations of the stipulations on the said omnibus.
To further reinforce learning, a workshop was facilitated by the Supervising Administrative Officer for Finance, Mr. Lyde G. Ragus, allowing participants to apply the concepts discussed and address practical concerns regarding SALN preparation and submission.
The orientation is conducted in two sessions: the morning session was attended by all non-academic personnel, while the afternoon session was designated for the faculty members. The activity officially concluded with the closing remarks delivered by the Vice President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, who thanked the participants and organizers for their active engagement and underscored the significance of collective compliance with SALN regulations.
This initiative reflects TAUโs continuous efforts to strengthen ethical standards and promote responsible public service among its workforce.
