Symbolizing faith and patriotism, the Tarlac Agricultural University community gathered at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center for the weekly flag-raising ceremony, which featured messages of motivation and updates on university programs and accomplishments, 3 November.
Led by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) through Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, College Dean,ย the College spearheaded the singing of the national hymn and recitation of pledges, fostering a sense of patriotism and service among the TAU community.
Meanwhile, the administration led by TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson greets the birthday celebrators for the month of November, spreading positivity and goodwill among attendees.
In addition, Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo, Director of Gender and Development (GAD) Office, encourages the students, faculty, and staff to participate in the upcoming activities in line with the observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) in collaboration with the Universityโs MOVE-KATROPA (Men Opposed to Violence Everywhere - Kalalakihang Tapat at Responsable sa Pamilya).
Furthermore, Dr. Lavina Gracia M. Ramirez, Dean from the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), takes pride in announcing the results from the recently concluded Veterinary Licensure Examination 2025, in which the college achieved an overall passing rate of 53.33%.
Moreover, Dr. Milani C. Petero, Principal of the Laboratory School (LS), expresses her gratitude to the TAU administration for the support and congratulates the students who qualified at the provincial level during the simultaneous Municipal Meet held from 17 to 18 October.
Subsequently, Mr. Von Carlo Ras Pangilinan, faculty member from CAS, proudly announces the victory of the BS Development Communication students for clinching First Place in the 36th National Statistics Month Documentary Film Festival with their entry โAgwat.โ
Showcasing the exceptional talent of DevCom students, Mr. Nelmar A. Mallari, CAS Faculty member and Chief of the Information Unit, urges everyone to secure a ticket in the upcoming Sine-Sulong 2025 and witness the outstanding collection of documentaries crafted by the CAS DevCom students.
With TAUโs remarkable achievements during the 2025 Kauayan Arts and Crafts Contest, Ms. Minda M. Mondiguing, RPF, Faculty member from the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), and Assistant Manager from the Bamboo Research and Training Center (BRTC), enthusiastically presents the major awards brought home by the TAU students and staff from BRTC.
In addition to this, Mr. Mark Anthony L. Bagsit, Chairperson of the Department of Forestry, also commends the newly licensed foresters who passed the October 2025 Foresters Licensure Examination (FLE).
As the flag-hoisting ceremony concludes, the TAU President expresses appreciation and congratulates all individuals and groups recognized during the program.
