Starting today, September 24, 2025, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) is proudly represented at the 2025 WURI Global Conference hosted by Tongmyong University (TU), South Korea. Following TAU’s inclusion in the 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), where it secured the 93rd spot, three university officials are taking part in the prestigious international gathering.

The TAU delegation is composed of Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA); Dr. Marianne P. Villaruel, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA); and Dr. Sheila R. Lingaya, Assistant Director and Chief for International Mobility of ELIA.Β 

Throughout the three-day event, the delegation will showcase TAU’s innovative and sustainable projects, foster networking opportunities, and engage in discussions with university leaders and global experts.

Running from September 24 to 26, 2025, the conference also serves as an avenue to highlight TAU’s best practices and to explore guidelines for developing new innovative projects in preparation for next year’s WURI submission.Β 

The 2025 WURI Global Conference is hosted by TU–South Korea and the WURI Foundation, and jointly organized by the City of Busan, B-Rise, and TU-Rise (Regional Innovation System and Education).
