To ensure transparency and accountability, the Legislative Budget Research and Monitoring Office headed by Senator Sherwin Ting Gatchalian, the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance conducts a briefing on the FY 2026 budget of the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) as part of the enactment process of the 2026 General Appropriations Act at the Senator Recto and Laurel Rooms, Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City on 26 September.
In line with this, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) represented by its University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, together with the TAU Executive Secretary and Chief of Presidential Management Staff, Mr. Orlando H. Locading, attends the budget hearing, which includes financial matters that will be evaluated during the meeting for the purpose of aligning SUCsโ budgets with national priorities and development goals, including access to quality education, research, extension services, and infrastructure.
