Fifty (50) students from the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) participated in Universitas Brawijayaโs (UB) 6th International Conference on Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine for Students (ICAVETS-VEIN) centered on the theme โTechnology and Innovation for Sustainable Livestock Production to Support Global Security,โ held on 3 November 2025 via Zoom.
This engagement provided the students with deeper insights through a series of lectures and discussions delivered by resource speakers from Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Malaysia.
TAU students also gained ideas on the United Nationsโ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the eventโs paper competition, which focuses on the following SDGs: (2) Zero Hunger, (9) Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, (12) Responsible Consumption and Production, and (13) Climate Action.
The ICAVETS-VEIN is organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of UB in Malang, Indonesia.
