𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐑 | 𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥

In every workplace, there are those who see challenges and then there are those who see possibilities, Mr. Noli C. Cayanga preferred to choose the latter by finding quick yet effective solutions in unexpected situations and showed that resourcefulness can be an art of efficiency.

Being a part of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Engineered Bamboo (E-Bamboo) production, Mr. Cayanga has been contributing to the sustainability efforts of TAU by proving that creativity and initiative can transform small ideas into meaningful outcomes.

Through his efforts, he was honored with the Most Resourceful award during the celebration of 125th Philippine Civil Service (CSC) Anniversary at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 29 September.

As Mr. Cayanga humbly accepted the recognition, he shared his deep gratitude to his E-bamboo facility family and to the whole TAU community. “Nakaka proud po at ang saya ko rin na nabigyan ng parangal ang aking sipag at pagiging malikhain sa trabaho, maraming salamat po sa aking mga ka-trabaho at sa buong TAU sa pagkilala at pagsuporta,” Mr. Cayanga shared.

Showing his deep reflection of commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth, he also admitted that there are times when he faced struggles with having limited resources. “Minsan may mga problema sa trabaho dahil sa kakulangan ng kagamitan ngunit sa tulong na rin ng mga ka-trabaho ko, pinagsusumikapan namin na maging positibo sa lahat ng bagay at mag isip ng iba’t ibang mga solusyon sa halip na sumuko. Hindi man ito madali pero hindi naman ito tungkol sa kung ano ang meron tayo, ngunit kung paano mo gagamitin ang mga ito,” he added.

“Ang pagiging mapamaraan ay mauumpisahan kapag ititigil natin ang paghihintay sa kung ano ang wala at sisimulan nating gamitin nang husto ang kung ano ang mayroon na,” he further emphasized.

TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson commended the awardee’s innovative mindset, emphasizing how such qualities align with the University’s vision of excellence and resilience.

“Lubos akong nagagalak sa pagiging mapamaraan ng mga kasamahan ko sa Unibersidad at sa pakiki-isa sa adhikain ng ating minamahal na TAU. Resourcefulness reflects not just skill, but character,” Dr. Salunson said. 

“It embodies the TAU spirit. The ability to adapt, innovate, and persevere no matter the circumstances,” Dr. Salunso added.
