Meanwhile, a poster presentation was also held at the University, providing participants with an additional platform to showcase their research findings and innovative ideas.
A total of 38 participating institutions from local and international communities actively contributed to the conference, bringing together a diverse range of scholars, researchers, and practitioners.
In a recent interview, TAU CAS Dean Dr. Sherwin S. Alar shared his thoughts on the significance of the conference.
โI see this conference as a reminder that evidence-based research can uplift communities when guided by empathy and responsibility. I believe our dialogue today holds the power to influence institutions and shape inclusive development. I am proud to contribute to that global conversation,โ he stated.

As one of the most awarded participants, Dr. Jhonnel J. Abalajon from Capiz State University (CAPSU) shared his appreciation: โStanding on that stage, accepting those awards, became one of the biggest achievements of my life. Tears flowed as flashbacks of hardships, sacrifices, and countless sleepless nights filled my heart. I realized that sacrifice is not only about pain or fear, but it is about committing ourselves to building a brighter future and conducting research that uplifts our community.โ
โThis journey reminded me of how blessed I am to have leaders with humility and compassion, especially our College Director of CAPSU Sigma Dr. Eimee D. Potato, and our Top-Level Management, our President Dr. Efren L. Linan, VP for Research and Extension, Dr. Leo Andrew Biclar, and University Research Director, Dr. Stephanie Pimentel, whose guidance inspires us every day. It also made me appreciate the importance of being surrounded by people with kind hearts, those who guide you, believe in you, and constantly remind you of your values and purpose. To my CAPSU Family, thank you for the trust and unwavering support. As One CAPSU, We Rise as One. We Rise Capiz as One. We are Family,โ he added.
As the event moved toward its final days, participants took part in the educational tour to partner institutions and cultural sites, reinforcing the conferenceโs ultimate goal of advancing sustainable and inclusive development for local and global communities.
