𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐑 | 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫

This Labor Day, we honor the unseen forces who power Tarlac Agricultural University’s engine of growth—the maintenance staff who keep our halls spotless, the farmers who fill our dinner tables with fresh produce, the administrative aides who keep the gears turning, and all rank-and-file employees who ensure TAU’s ship is all set for the towering waves.

Though their roles are often overlooked, their efforts are the foundation of TAU’s successful voyage. We recognize that true progress cannot exist without fairness. The fight for social justice begins here, in our own backyard, where we must bridge the gap between privilege and inequity.

Celebrating elegance and campus spirit, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community crowned its newest ambassadors—Ted B. Villanueva of the College of Business and Management (CBM) and Twinkle M. Guides of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)—as Mister and Miss TAU 2025. Held at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 2 May, the grand coronation night brought together 13 dynamic pairs representing the University’s six colleges and laboratory school in a spectacle of talent, wit, and grace.

Rising above the competition, Villanueva and Guides impressed the judges across multiple segments, including a production number, uniform outfit, casual wear, and formal attire. Their eloquence during the question-and-answer round sealed their victory, as they answered questions focusing on youth-related issues. Earlier (25 April), they also joined their fellow contestants in captivating audiences during the talent showdown.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit’s corps of cadets proudly rendered their snappy salutes after achieving a total grade of  97.02% during the Regional Annual Administrative And Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2025 held at the TAU Oval, 2 May.

RAATI is conducted annually by the Philippine Army to assess rigorously the training management, proficiency, and quality of training and education achieved by ROTC cadets. This inspection ensures alignment with national defense protocols and measurement of the cadets’s skills and mastery acquired during their basic military training under the ROTC course program.

Before the inspection, the ROTC corps of cadets performed a ceremonial turnover of unit color to the Chairman of the Inspection Team followed by an overview of inspection and operational protocols led by Col. Eugene F. Garce (INF) PA.
