Maximizing its reach to the global arena to create bigger opportunities for its community, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) sealed partnership with the Universitas Pamulang (UNPAM), Indonesia through a virtual ceremonial signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on February 4, 2025.
 
Said virtual signing was spearheaded by academic leaders namely, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President; Dr. Benny S. Soliman, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA); Dr. E. Nurzaman A.M., M.M., M.Si., Rector of UNPAM; Prof. Dr. Oksidelfa Yanto, S.H., M.H., Vice Rector IV, Division of Cooperation, Innovation, Research and Community Service of UNPAM.

Through joint initiatives to bolster academic opportunities and research development, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) was sealed through a virtual signing on February 4, 2025.
 
Paving the way to establish said partnership was Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President and Dr. Bobby D. Gerardo, NISU President along with Dr. Benny S. Soliman, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs of TAU and Dr. Fernan P. Tupas, Director of Communication and International Collaboration Office of NISU.

Expanding its global reach, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has renewed its partnership with Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST), the first state university of fisheries in the country; through a virtual signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on February 4, 2025 via Zoom.
 
The ceremonial MOU signing between the two higher education institutions (HEIs) was steered by academic leaders namely, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President; Dr. Nordy D. Siason, ISUFST President; Dr. Noli Gerona, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Faculty Representative of ISUFST; Dr. Benny S. Soliman, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA); and Dr. Jeanette G. Bayona, Director of International Affairs and Linkages.

Please be advised that applicants for the Tarlac Agricultural University - College Admission Test (TAU-CAT) who have questions or concerns regarding the admission process for the first semester of AY 2025-2026 are still welcome to visit the campus as walk-ins.

Applicants may visit the ARS Office for portal assistance and must bring necessary requirements listed on the TAU FB post (https://bit.ly/TAUAdmission) as PDFs or scanned copies. They may also get in touch with ARS via this contact number: 0961-556-1463. Parents or representatives cannot transact without the applicant present.

Alvarado - Agriculturist II, at the Library Conference Hall - Learning Resource Center (LRC), 14 February.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC) receives the re-accreditation certificate of its sweet potato nursery granted by the Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI) led by Ms. Maricar F. Certifying its compliance with the DA-Administrative Order No. 25, Series of 2013, and the amendment of Memorandum Circular No. 03, Series of 2006, governing the accreditation of government units, state universities and colleges (SUCs), and private plant nursery operators, the TAU-RRTC led by the Vice President for Research Extension and Training (VPRET) Dr. Edmar N. Franquera along with RRTC Director Ms. Aira Waje, is granted re-accreditation, valid until 5 January 2028, for sweet potato varieties such as VSp-6, UPL Sp-6, SG 96-35-03, JK 018, and JK 027.

Demonstrating its longstanding tradition of excellence in campus journalism, The Tillers, the official student publication of Tarlac Agricultural University - Laboratory School (TAU-LS), claimed multiple awards at the 2025 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC).
 
The Tillers delivered a stellar performance, finishing as the Overall 2nd runner-up in the Secondary category, solidifying its reputation as one of the top performing student publications in the province. The competition held at Tarlac National High School (TNHS) unfolded in two phases: the semifinals on 5-6 February and the final round on 12-14 February.

After many years, The Golden Harvest (GH), the official student publication of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), has returned as one of the region’s top-performing publications after it secured the 7th place in the overall group category and 10th place in the overall individual category at the 23rd Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC III), held from 5-7 February in Arayat, Pampanga.
 
Competing against 37 student publications, GH clinched an impressive haul of 24 group awards, excelling in categories such as newsletter, literary folio, magazine, and radio broadcasting. In the individual category, GH earned 17 awards, with four staff members qualifying for the Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC). Among them were News Editor Marc Joshua T. Dela Cruz and Junior Graphic Artist John Bernard D. Doria, who both earned 19 points and ranked fourth overall in the individual tally.
