𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Consistently advancing agricultural and extension projects, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) Animal Science Department concludes a 10-day hands-on training for the students undergoing work-immersion from the Birbira High School (BHS) at the Farmers Training Center (FTC), 31 January.
 
A total of 33 senior high school students under the Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) program of BHS completes a collaborative session facilitated by Instructors from CAF and Dr. John Russel F. Sadio, Veterinarian II from the Business and Auxiliary Services. These sessions are also integrated with hands-on activities, allowing learners to experience agricultural practices and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Marking a significant milestone in their academic journey, the students of the College of Business and Management (CBM) at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) proudly commenced their Pinning Ceremony at the Gilberto O. Teodoro (GOT) Multipurpose Hall yesterday, January 31.
 
With the theme “Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: Upholding Excellence and Integrity in Business and Management,” the ceremony represented not just the years of the CBM students' hard work and determination, but also the start of their new chapter.

Steadfast to strategize the agricultural sector in the region, the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO3) under the supervision of Dr. Eduardo L. Lapuz, Jr. partners with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) for the Central Luzon Agriculture and Fisheries Resources, Research, and Extension for Development Network (CLAAFRREDN) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing held at the Office of the University President - Conference room on January 27, 2025.
 
Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President along with Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension and Training (VPRET); and Dr. Irene M. Adion, OIC-Regional Technical Director for Research, Regulations and Integrated Laboratory Service of the DA-RFO4s, led the said ceremonial signing.

Collaborating to create a film designed for agriculture, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) - Tarlac Province and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) representing its College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Development Communication, inked partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the Office of the University President - Conference Room on January 27, 2025.
 
The ceremonial signing was spearheaded by Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President, along with Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA) and Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, Dean of CAS.

The long wait is over.

After weeks of anticipation, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Recertification status on 15 December 2024 after the official certificate was released on 14 January 2025.

It can be recalled that during the closing meeting at the Bamboo Training Center (BTC) on 9 December, external auditors Dr. Jovertlee C. Pudan and Dr. Dante C. Bo communicated the findings to the top management and concerned personnel. Although there were no nonconformities recorded, opportunities for improvement were recommended.

The TAU-ARS announces the schedule of enrollment and other related activities for the second semester of AY 2024-2025.
To ensure smooth transactions for adding, changing, or dropping of subjects, download the forms through this link: https://drive.google.com/.../1Kr.../view and follow the procedures in the posters below.
 
Withdrawals of enrolment registration can also be processed starting 5 February. Requests will be accommodated for walk-in clients at the ARS office or via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. along with a request letter and scanned copy of the Certificate of Registration (COR).

As part of the University’s mandate to hoist the flag every first Monday, the University President - Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, leads the weekly ceremony, emphasizing community participation of all University stakeholders. He also reminds TAUians to start the month by treating colleagues as a family and continuing to show pride and compassion for the University.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) collaborates with the Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) to launch the first-ever Mobile Soil Laboratory (MSL) from 27-30 January in front of the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center. Said initiative, supported by DA-BSWM’s Laboratory Services Division (LSD) and Soil Survey Division (SSD), aims to assist farmers and agricultural stakeholders in Tarlac.
 
The MSL, a 10-wheeler truck equipped with advanced tools, provides on-site soil testing services to assess soil health and fertility. Open to farmers, Local Government Units (LGUs), and other stakeholders, the project also engages Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) students from TAU’s College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), led by Ms. Virginia Isabelle M. Candal, Instructor III.
